07/04/2005 A short guide to the Romanian cultural sector
A new information tool introducing the Romanian cultural sector is now available: Mapping opportunities for cultural cooperation. A short guide to the Romanian cultural sector today.

The guide was realised by the ECUMEST Association in the framework of the ARCult programme, at the commissioning of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest, and was published with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute.

Being a practical instrument aimed at encouraging and promoting a long term cultural cooperation with Romania, the publication was conceived as an introductory guide to the current context of the Romanian cultural sector and its different artistic sub-sectors, with a focus on those organisations that have an interest, abilities or a track record in international cooperation.

The publication was launched on April 7, 2005, in the presence of Mr. Atzo Nicolaļ, Minister for European Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, who was on a bilateral visit to Romania, and of Ms. Mona Musca, Minister of Culture and Religious Affairs of Romania.

The guide is available in English. A limited number of copies will be distributed free of charge.

The guide can also be purchased from the Publishing House of the Romanian Cultural Institute, at the price of 10,00 EUR (mailing taxes included).
